Some of you may have seen this already. I did a quick search on the Taco Stand and did not see it posted, so I decided to put the link up.

I find it very interesting, though when the article states two different species of male snakes fighting has never been seen before (or at least recorded) I wonder if it happens more than we know, of course I am not a herpetologist but a mammalogist, the latter being my primary education, field work and training in zoology.

And it mentions the possible hybridization of the two species, both species are of the same genus, Agkistrodon.

I think snakes are beautiful creatures, but they scare the heck out of me, I avoid them, venomous or non-venomous. And it must be tough getting around with no limbs, but then, they have been doing it for a long long time.

EDIT
Ireland may be rainy and overcast a lot (like, NOW), but there are no snakes, except the human kind (politicians, bank executives, social workers, even journalists, oops I am one of those).

And Hetch Hetchy, beautiful, but rattlesnake café.
