My good friend Emily Sukinnick has been
battling Lyme disease. The bills have piled
up. She has been a major force in
women's highlining and is just an amazing
person in general. If you have a couple bucks
to throw her way help her out. If not no worries.

There is progress in Lyme disease diagnosis, but it still needs a lot of work. Another first-world problem that can help 3rd-world countries.

Apparently Europe is fighting CCHF disease which is transmitted by African ticks and spreads among migrants through their respiratory systems. Sneezing, coughing, personal contact with fluids.

We need more research here, less on Global Warming, IMO.

My buddy of 15 years just got diagnosed. They say he contracted it about 6-10 years ago, prolly when I was climbing with him. He's still fighting.
