Interesting. Looks like the same principle as a centerpunch.
Rock!...oopsie.

That idea does not suck but if the spring action won't open a bottle then they totally f*#ked up by not including an opener.

Hi, I'm the designer of LittleHammer, great to find this discussion. Happy to answer any questions here.

Just been having the bottle opener discussion and I will include a small notch on the inside of the front hook for bottle tops, though I did have trouble finding those type of tops to experiment with.

I pulled apart an automatic centre punch and they are a brilliant mechanism. Don't think it could be scaled up for climbing and the IP is probably well protected.

$1AU is about 69 US cents so a good time to get one especially at the Kickstarter price. I always knew it would be a hard sell being the heaviest and most expensive nut tool but I'm that confident it changes the game of nut removal.

I knew of a climber who made 2 of them, near identical to what yours appear to be, over 20 years back. His buddy's all whispered about it and badgered him to get one for themselves but he never made others that I was aware of. Now they are available for them from you if they wish. Where this would really shine is on cleaning clean aid. ie, where you left the hammer behind but buddy weighted a pitch of nuts. I'm buying one. $102.00, not cheap.

Good luck with the sale.

Ah new tools ! Always so cool to see tinkers tink , inventors invent and think up new better things.
This thwacker looks sweat and to add to the ability to be proud of the weight of your freight,
Just adds zing to the taste.

This is for a first edition, the collectable generation and the cost is half value.
I really want one. And will lament when I think back to missing out on the first generation.
The next gen will be lighter and better I'll bet and then just sell it for the mist $$ ,££,?¥ or what ever, hold out for top dollar at the third generation for the one year contract keep your rights and your hands on that third gen product, you are at the greatest risk of failure at the point of change so there is a formula but it is a crap shoot or poop Shute!
Good luck I can think of some rad folks to rep your product.

For about 10:00$>>> a repurposed shelf bracket, a bungy cord with an old dense, iron, 'train track" machine nut, & Duct tape,(it wil save your world)- attach, by the simple and muti- purpose drilled out dedicated re-enforced holes.basic not as James Bond but achieves almost the same result by using a pull tab an your mouth/teeth. I like the rig and the idea a lot

I wonder if the one-offs mentioned above came from Horsenden Road in New Paltz ?

The divide between those that can spend to get toys to play and those that play but can't afford to live grows wider.

This is also your audition, I hope that beyond the re invention of the nut pick you create some thing really profitable in a big big way. The freedom that the success brings you seems well deserved..

Our Kickstarter campaign has finished with 159% funding, 129 backers taking 174 LittleHammers as rewards. We had 22,000 views of the video. Thanks to all the Supertopo readers who checked it out.

If you want to keep up with LittleHammer's progress check in on the Climb Design blog: http://climbdesign.co/littlehammer/

Getting rolling on the production with orders and final samples underway, looking good for our fulfilment schedule.
