Nowadays, the term is applied to just about anything.
I've never under understood how a war on terrorism was supposed to work. You declare war on people, not acts. It makes about as much sense as declaring war on bank robbery.

fair points. The point I am trying to make is that saving a dog in a hot car is a hero, but saving a mink from slaughter is terrorism?
I do eat some meat, but little of it is from factory farms.

sure, and the law agrees with you. The laws are there to increase profits, not be humane or preserve public lands.
With the states about to sell our public lands to Chinese, I suspect we will see more eco-'terroism'
So no Edward Abby types on the Topo? curious, I thought there would be a few around.

i expected the old cranky conservative guys on ST, but i did think there would be a few that would question calling those that rescue animals terrorists.
by hey, its a long time since the 60s. worst crime on this forum seems to be going to a climbing gym and associating with sport climbers.
