Nice! bunch of outstanding climbing, writing and photos. I was looking at Peace the other weekend wondering how many times it gets led per year.

I take issue with that prrrdylady, try a euphemisim like....calcified, curmudgeon climbers from centuries past.
Raining in Ouray but off to the Wind Rivers tomorrow.

Nice stuff Kate!

What a great blog entry. Please post more about some of the climbing you do on here, in preferably shorter and more frequent reports. Awesome stuff!

By the way you mentioned your interest in nutrition. Have you made any blog posts about nutrition for climbing? I always look for ways to improve my nutrition, if you have any posts on than please link! Post it up if you ever do please. In particular it would be great to learn more about recovery post climbing/working out. I usually do 25-30 g of protein (shake) and a banana post my workouts. At times I feel like I overeat when I try to prepare for a big climb or recover after working out. Would be great to learn what is enough and what foods are preferred.

Perhaps you miss the point too Burchley. I would imagine that Tami is joking with the GFYS comment. By "taking offense" at your dryed up calcified climbers comment, she was essentially joking that she fit that parameter. Of course, we all know Tami as one of the biggest crackups here, one who still is young(ish), strong and doesn't spray about stupid BS like some of us...too much.....so please don't take offense.

Katie, you clearly are still kicking ass. At least, more ass even when you had one leg than most of the rest of us:-) Thanks for sharing.
