But snow quantity is quite low everywhere I could see- basically didn't see any on the ridges above Jackass Meadow or Lake Florence or Courtright, but they aren't that high. Reservoirs are shockingly low.
Very hot weather at 8k feet- easily 80s or 90s. The cloud cover in these pics was atypical for the last week.
There are not snow fields pretty much. I walked by on the High Trail a few days ago and was up at the gap a month ago as well. A month ago there were some but nothing to worry about and now there are none except one that is circumnavigated. Hope this helps. The Sierra are dry right now!
