on our first day of vacation last week of the 4th of july week we got in to oakhurst around 10:30 am and the temps were already around 100 degrees, so we did not hang out at the ranch we made a bee line to our favorite swimming hole at fresno dome, had lunch drank a couple beers and waited for the shaddows to hit the dome, on the way up to the swimming hole when we past the fresno campgrounds there was only one camp site filled, and when we got to the fresno dome trailhead we were the only car there, i love how even on a big holiday like the 4th of july fresno dome has no crowds :-), i be at fresno dome at least 6 times this season and seen maybe 3 climbing party's and one of them was the man him self who brought my out to fresno dome for my first time, doug robinson.
