Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing/testing FPGA prototypes for leading edge mobile storage products
Developing firmware and system tests to validate FPGA prototypes prior to wider deployment
Interfacing with design engineers, verification engineers, firmware engineers, and product engineers to hit prototyping milestones prior to design tape out
Assist in controller silicon debug/characterization/qualification
Successful candidates for this position will have:
• Proficiency in C/C++ (Python knowledge is a plus)
• Proficiency in RTL (Verilog or VHDL) with experience in FPGA platforms utilizing Xilinx or Altera FPGAs (Xilinx ISE, Altera Quartus)
• eMMC/SD/MS/NAND or other storage product interface knowledge/experience
• Oscilloscope, logic analyzers, protocol analyzer and embedded processor emulation and trace tool experience
• The ability to read schematics, decipher data sheets and understand electronic circuits
• Knowledge of storage interface characterization and silicon qualification is a plus
• Knowledge of VLSI technology/semiconductor device knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, experience with mobile hardware platform is a plus
• Solid people skills and the ability to communicate well in written, spoken, and presentation forms.
• The ability to work independently or in a group environment
