Hi All

I am producing a film about how rock climbing changed my life. I finally hired on an award winning filmmaker Chris Alstrin who did “Wide Boyz” last year which won at Reel Rock7. http://alstrinfilms.com/wide-boyz/

I have asked a few other key friends to be a part of this film as well. Our narratives talk about many different reasons why we came to climbing. Some of those stories are dark, inspirational and some simply light filled and passionate. My group, Get your Climb On, is the connector that brought us together in this film so it will definitely weave together climbing stories--one piece of a larger climbing community.

While I have about 7 in our cast I am still looking for maybe 1 or 2 more climbers who have a story to tell. While it doesn’t have to be dark it would be nice to see how climbing has changed your life in a meaningful way. I also need someone who is projecting a great sport lead or trad climb. It would also be nice if they were already part of GYCO: http://www.meetup.com/Get-Your-Climb-On/

If you or anyone you know thinks they would be ideal please send then my way. Our film will begin shooting June 26-30. We will be shooting at Mission Cliffs, Castle Rock Park, Grotto and Auburn Quarry. The person would need to commit to 2 hours at Mission Cliffs (June 26 or 27th during the morning) and an entire day at one of the outdoor shoots or they can do all 3. We intend to submit a 3 minute piece of this story into kickstarter.com to raise capital for a larger short (10 mins or more) so we can then in turn take that footage and submit to Banff Mountain Film festival and others. Maybe even Reel Rock. This should be an exciting ride and adventure.

If you can think of anyone here are my deets Michael.dorame@gmail.com - 415-505-7318. Thank you kindly
