After my accident last year up on the Third Pillar (http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.php?topic_id=1843435&msg=1847485#msg1847485);, I really discovered the down side to only having catastrophic health insurance.

I got this in the mail a few weeks ago though...


Super glad I had my AAC membership in good standing when I tumbled to pick up the slack of my primary insurance regarding my exorbitantly expensive ambulance ride from Tuolumne to Mammoth!

Would have needed to actually make it to the climb for that to happen! I fell hiking on the approach.
