We had a larger island and a house all designed and ready to build. I don't think I'll do it alone, but we had a great time doing all the research and getting the plans put together.

When we were working on the islands in the lake, the ducks and geese would come over and check that we were not bothering their nests. It was a fun time. I have a whole slide show of when we were building Betty's Island at the lake.

And the tribe goes on. . .

Ran across some photos of Doug from our Blitz Hill climb, maybe June '76. He had identified it as the highest unclimbed peak in the range, but I guess named it after the climb, which we did on the day we flew in.
