hey there say,folks...

since i moved in here, and have been settling this whole year and seeing how to get the yard and me "good to go", find more funds, for a real house-type place, and get back to my books...

i HAVE let october slip by! :O

yet- here, we all are aware of head injury, due to the sad climbing events that had gone wrong for many dear friends...

well, the reason for this awareness post is this:

brain injury is such a HUSH HUSH, let's "ignore" it thing in society, in general...

let's be aware of those that have had to travel this hard trail...

1--they may not be able to do the things they used to do, but:
they are STILL WHO THEY WERE before those accidents... they are just greatly hindered and stuck in neutral gear, in a sense, wanting to get back on track....

many folks know they are different, but SOME actualy do not realize it, as they function and other shun they, due to "how awkward they are seen to be" by "the social crowds"...

some are in hospitals IGNORED... folks are just too busy to share life with them now, as they are "not so exciting" to be around, :(

2--then, there are folks, too, that face seizures due to all this...another type of "shunning" happenes here, and many family go through a whole change of life, and never do adjust, because any minute can shake up the household events, or well planed famly exercurions, why many folks do not go shopping or to movies, etc, due to these facts (though no all folks, of course--you can learn more at the epilepsy site, as to how folks feels about this)...

you see, things are no "perfectly scheduled" as to household events, things can fall apart at any given time--in other words:
folks are "inconvienienced" by another's "inability"

very sad that folks see this, instead of:
there MUST be things we can still do together, and we will find them!
sometimes it may just be by BEING THERE and offering smiles at the song of bird, or due to the warm sunshine...

__
well, in closing, here__,
i wish could find this quote but i can't right now:

one of the nurses that was tending to gabby, the congresswoman that had the severe head injury from the gunshot, well, she had stated (as to gabby and others) that many folks that have to REGAIN speak will NOT go out in public due to the very fact that folks see and perseive them as...

STUPID....

how about that? for some reason, society has a great need NOT to be associated with anyone that "seems stupid" and "might make other think 'they' are stupid as well" due to the fact that their friend, aqaintance, or "person standing NEAR them" is: stupid...

how very sad...

well,i am making myself cry due to this, so i better stop now...
oh my...

you see:
well... the measure of a person should be by their heart, not what their BRAIN can't do....

*yes, i understand that it is awkward at times (but so are so many things that one does) and one may be tempted to be embarressed that they can't understand another's speach, but the otherfeels just the same, trying to relay speach to YOU:

LIFE IS ALWAYS ABOUT LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER... not about trying to show how much smarter one is, over another, for presentation of body-poise and brain-cell power...

back to communication:
one just needs to be there, hold ones ground, and try...
communication is more than "me me me" well, "i got to run"...

IT IS to share experiences to enhance each other, so that life is not wasted...

give someone your time, not only NOW IN OCTOBER...
BUT always, as you can...

say, do you have a buddy laid up somewhere?
a parent-folk that had a stroke?
someone that has seizures that might "mess up your day's plans, if he/she has one?

rise higher, and be who you are meant to be, as well...
:)

you can do it...
god bless you all so very very much....

hey there say, you ol' 'fabulous' three, there! :)

thanks for mentioning the vets, too, folks are very unaware (as ron said) of what they face now and for the hard future...

as is often sadly mentioned in many epilepsy articles and/or brain injury sights:

folks in the medical-field are more-and-more NOW finally pressing to learn what to do for these conditions, being that more-and-more folks are actually SURVIVING a lot more of these severe injuries and really need help... and--will be facing seizures, from this as well...

say, i think too, NOV, is for the veterans's day, is'nt it?

oh my, and nov will be:

seizure/epilepsy awareness month....
(ahhh, you will hear one more note from for the ending of the year, until next time, ;) unless i mention my books, in between) :)

*always got these times mixed up, so i am trying to get a grip on those months... (used to be some states had speical things in march, way back)

WELL, i got to go sleep... had to fix website stuff up, last night for the book-site... :O

thanks for remembering these folks, any of which, even now, are
out there 'hitting that trail...

hey there, say, all...

just a bump for the weekend folks...

in case someone is going through any of this...
folks are out and about that are thinking of you, '
praying and wishes you the best, as you help your
loved ones...

you just don't see them all, as many simply see stuff
in news articles, etc, and ask their friends to pray, or even help with
donations, do awareness talks, etc, to help these folks not be
forgotten...
