Priceless stuff Pat.

Many of those pictures really capture the spirit of an era. Not just the best pose down safari, but more spontaneous moments.

The people, the climbs, and the moments that have inspired so many climbers.

Setting the stage for so much to come.......

I don't know why my face is "white" in that boxcar shot.
I think that was a slide scanned for me, when the
media department at Weber University scanned some of my slides,
and they might have tried to bring out the face by some
brush or filter technique.

I have so many shots. Hard to know where to begin. Kerwin,
on "Ament's Arete" there should be a dab of chalk on the highest
hold, a flat fingertip thing inches below the top, but it
doesn't show in the second picture. I did NOT do a big lunge
to the top but in fact wanted specifically to do the route
slow and statically.

I need to get more of my slides scanned. Wonder if Ed Hartouni
is still making the offer... He said a couple years ago he'd
do all my slides, and I never followed through...

I hope this doesn't come off as an ego trip, showing pictures of
myself. I like Survival's take on it, just a look back to an era.
Trying to do something to cheer myself up, pretend I was at least
once a climber...
