Anything 'poodle' is more than likely Josh.

Just how many "poodle" routes are there in Josh? And how many people have done them all?

Another booty bailgear thread? WTF?

(Copied from this thread, posted earlier today: http://www.supertopo.com/climbers-forum/1500814/Stuck-Rope-Red-Rocks-Juniper-Canyon-Ginger-Buttress);

In either case, why don't you make arrangements to go back and get it yourself?

Not picking on you in particular, but there seems to be a pattern lately of people who bail on gear for whatever reason, then post a thread notifying others that the stuff is there, and asking for it to be returned. (Edit: or in this case, up for grabs) It has the distinct impression of shifting responsibility to someone else for one's own actions.

Perhaps your circumstances were such that retrieval really wasn't an option due to it's location, or an accident. But if not retrieving it was simply because it was inconvenient, that's weak sauce.

I dunno... that whole "yours for the taking" bit in the OP led me to believe he's giving the heads up to dirt bags who want a bit of booty rather than asking for it back.

Yes, the OP's thread is clearly one of 'up for grabs'.

Though I'm sure someone will appreciate the booty, leaving gear anywhere because it was inconvenient to retrieve is just not cool. Even if the gear is nice stuff, it's still not cool.

It's pretty damn easy to rig a rap and clean yer tat in most of JT.

hmmm - if this particular Joe got spanked, this is not going to be easy gear to booty...

I'll second that opinion Mike. This is not any Joe, this is Go Go Joe.

Another booty bailgear thread? WTF?

Anther post critiquing the worthiness of ST threads? WTF?

It's a climbing thread.

It's pretty damn easy to rig a rap and clean yer tat in most of JT.

Not always. Do you know the route well enough to decide how hard it it to clean the gear?

OP's seems to be a solid climber. Prolly been climbing a while if he made it that far on that route. Why be so self-righteous?
