this was my first solo experience on 5th class- quite exhilarating and humbling too. this was just last week too!

(I did climb the finger. . .the Gendarme at Seneca in
1974. . . well before it finally succombed to gravity. . .
one of the scariest things I ever climbed, and only a 5.4). . .

Jaybro, that is a pic of a pic I believe and it may hav foreshortened it, but I pretty sure it is 100 ft. and from certain perspectives it looks awful skinny and top heavy.
