Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me,
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me.

Well I gave you ev'rything I had,
But you left me sitting on my own,
Did you have to treat me oh so bad,
All I do is hang my head and moan.

Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me,
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me.

If there's something I have said or done,
Tell me what and I'll apologize,
If you don't really can't go on,
Holding back these tears in my eyes.

Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me,
Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me.

Well I beg you on my bended knees,
If you'll only listen to my pleas,
Is there anything I can do,
'cause I really can't stand it, I'm so in love with you.

Tell me why you cried, and why you lied to me.

I've found that sometimes there is no answer to "why". And that can be really hard to accept.

Hi Lois,

A couple of obscure poets name John Lennon and Paul McCartney penned that one way back in the day. Maybe you've heard of them? :-)

hey there say....

why, is a training exercise of life...

why, leads to you learning who you are, when affected by it...

and why, you may ask?

because the future is about the "why's", and in ways
you or i may never see...

that is why, why, happens...

some "why's" were birthed from good sources and some from evil sources...
but one day, once again, the future will answer all "why's"...
the future is the key...

LEB, are you the original LEB ? Your grammar and syntax have changed quite abit since you have started posting again.....jess sayin'.

Edit: For example your response to Fletcher just up post. "That is so great of a poem". ????? Bad grammar, not the LEB I went toe to toe with months ago. That LEB Much more articulate.

Thanks Anders for that clip. That movie has great sentimental value for me and I am now realizing it influenced me in some subtle ways (no, I don't have a fifth Beatle complex!). Saw it many times when I was a kid, will have to see it again soon. The bits with Paul's "grandfather" are awesome.
