Granite in the Central Valley foothills! At about 3000 feet elevation these are some of the few granite boulders in Northern California that stay dry through most of the winter. With a fairly short 5-10 minute approach and a few short topropeable cliffs, this is a popular local weekend hang out for Chico area climbers and also for classes. The multi-pitch Bald Rock Dome is also nearby in the Feather River Canyon and check out the sixth largest waterfall in America: the awesome Feather Falls! Notable Bouldering Problems
