Overview
Moonstone is popular with local climbers as well as local beach goers, sight seers, and partiers. Weekends can be busy especially if it is sunny. Weather can change from hot to cold, windy and foggy in minutes, so bring a few layers of clothes. There are plenty of rocky coves to seek shelter from the elements or the crowds. There are enough boulder problems here to fill a day. On the other hand there are enough good reasons not to do anything at all. Just hang out, do a few problems, relax, and fill the day with good times Northern Cali style!
