Greasy feet, a reach-through to a gaston, and a Jacob in a pear tree.

It's steeper than it looks too... Homeboy freed this corner.. Whatever.

The "make it work" station where I stretched it out. You can taste the altitude in this one.

Our Manky MacGyver bivy anchor. Sleep tight....

Bivy 2. You can see El Cap meadow down below (about 2000 feet down). I didn't have a screen to check these photos.. but you can see the base of the apron, where we started 2 days ago, just over my shoulder.

"slick as snot" with the Great Roof in the distance (1 pitch away). The sky edge of this shot is an arete, which the ropes blew around in the gusts. The life of a vertical sailor.

The traverse pitch, a shorty... I wish we could have summoned our inner Sherpa and just worn the bag over this section.

Me leaving Eagle Ledge. I think this was the first pitch I was able to actually get some climbing in (more than aiding).

The #4, not so tipped out. Yet.

The top o' the boot. Jib hauls, I jug. I wish I had the time to follow this proper... Look at that flake!

When you don't leave draws, you get that awesome run-out look. Gotta love the exposure!

These hips don't lie.. It's a tight space.

The Bivy. Portaledge: a bummer to haul, but a blessing to sleep in.

The toughest haul I can recall. A 1:1 space-haul. I jump down the wall, which counter-weights the bag upwards. My 25 foot leash was just long enough to get me to the vertical face, but no further--frustrating.

The ledge, you can see the off-width just on the edge of the shadow. Our bivy is at the top of the El Cap Tower, which is the column in the sun. Just 2-3 pitches to go.

Lunch Ledge, been climbing for approximately 9 hours and no food. What a bunch of dummies.... No wonder I'm crashing. Pay no attention to the security of the haul-bag, it has more security than it appears.
