Super route, we did it after Johnny Vegas then rapped off, for a good short day. The traverse to Solar Slab is still pretty overgrown, we did it by climbing a few feet up the wall and traversing above the trees.
Hadren says that the second part of pitch is unprotected, but I found plenty of gear placements, some of which would probably have held a fall.

This is a pretty good route and a decent way for a fast party to pass any slower parties on the first couple of pitches of Solar Slab.

I didn't notice any real rock-quality issues- the rock is solid and the climbing is fun. The first pitch is definitely the better of the two, but the whole route is worth doing.

Finally, its currently a bit of a thrash to get over to the top of P2 on Solar- the bushes have overgrown nicely.
