Avg time to climb route: 1-2 hours
Approach time: 15 minutes

Number of pitches: 4
Height of route: 300'
Overview
Positively 4th Street offers a good introduction to Yosemite granite. Steep liebacking and underclinging with bomber protection for two short pitches. There is the option to add two more fun 5.7 crack pitches. The route is sunny by mid-morning so prepare for heat in the summer. The top of the fourth pitch has much loose gravel and blocks but can easily be avoided – be cautious here. Two ropes are required if choosing to climb the upper pitches.
