Overview
Prusik Peak (8,000’) is a perfect little granite spire overlooking the Enchantment Lakes basin on the eastern end of the Stuart Range. This remote alpine plateau is reminiscent of the high Sierras with beautiful lakes, golden granite, and sparse vegetation. The South Face route is the climb of choice on the peak’s steepest and highest façade. Several pitches of excellent quality rock yield to the final exciting corner crux, leading right to the top of this highly sought after summit.
