Don't follow the signposted "Slacker Trail" if you want to get to the boulder. Although it passes within a hundred feet or so of the boulder, it's separated from it by a steep little gully absolutely chock full of poison oak.

yeh, good beta. i just walked up the steep but open grassy hill above the intersection. directisimo! good fun chert with a great view.
