This is the highest concentrated bouldering area in the Valley. It is home to the mega-classics such as Bachar Cracker, Midnight Lightning, King Cobra, Thriller and the Dominator. Camp 4 is also the historic campground where climbers have lived for the past 60 years. The rock in Camp 4 has larger grains than some of the other granite in the Valley making some of the holds sharper. Because it has been the center of Valley bouldering for many years, lots of the classic problems sport polished holds and have become harder. The Camp 4 Center boulders are directly above the first half of Camp 4 (between the kiosk and the bathrooms). Notable Bouldering Problems
