Overview
This is a nice place to boulder if it’s cold up at high elevation and also a great place to camp for the same reason. With the Mobil only a few minutes away and usually plenty of campsites available to go with the fair amount of bulletproof granite in the canyon near the camping and the river, this is worth a visit for sure. The boulders have more edges, slopers, and square-cut hold rather than the knobby knobs so commonly found up in the Tuolumne area. There is some potential for new problems in the canyon and the problems that are already established are really good.
Notable Bouldering Problems
