This is one of the most extensive bouldering areas in Tahoe. This guidebook covers only a slice of the total problems. The Secrets was once Tahoe’s most mysterious bouldering area. Rumors of the areas endless potential circulated wildly for a quarter century. Many people came, missed the main concentrations, and left disappointed. Until 2004, Mark Nicholas alone saw the area’s potential. For 20 years he had the area to himself, establishing over 100 problems, including some V10 test pieces. In 2004, word spread and over 100 additional problems were established. Notable Bouldering Problems
