  South Lake Tahoe Climbing Classics

South Lake Tahoe maintains a special balance of the alpine elements. Of the peaks, rivers, lakes, and crags, no one element dominates. Instead, each is seamlessly tied to the next: 9000-foot peaks rise out of Lake Tahoe and wild rivers flow under the abundant granite crags. The following images from Corey Rich and the SuperTopo crew highlight this balance.
