micro valley trip report

Had my nephew Chris visiting so took a quick trip with him and son John to the Valley. Hot on Saturday, perfect on Sunday with some overcast. First time ever seeing Yosemite for Chris. Got some nice shots of a few of the Valley standards and thought I'd post them up.

Decked on the first moves of Moby Dick Center? I resemble that remark, that be some slippery sh*t.

Great spot to break an ankle or two. He landed on the only semi-flat, 1-foot-square rock in the little sea of big rocks down there.

Those feet at the bottom have gotten a lot more slippery over the years.

Hey! We were two parties ahead of these chaps on CPOF this Saturday. Good to see they ticked a few more classics over the weekend.

One of my profs in grad school used to opine that quality times quantity is a constant. If this TR was a "mini," its quality more than made up for any lack of quantity. Thanks much.
