Trip report on climbing in a place that I think makes for one of the best trad holidays possible, and a place that needs the support of climbers and trekkers to get its economy back on track.

Nice!
The Haj had the best views & setting of the routes we've done there...well away from the village and nothing but an open sandy plain all the way to Saudi Arabia off in the distance.

Good to see another person traveling to the Rum

The Jordanians are great people. How was the traveler's lodge in Rum? It was closed when I was there, so I stayed out with the Bedouins.

The lodge was open and the hot shower working, but not much of an atmosphere as we were the only people.
