Daybreak at camp.

Up en at em!

"Are we rock climbing today dad?"

"Maybe a little latter, afterwards"

"How far is it?"

"It's up the hill a ways"

On the trail.

Our destination is way up there. And yet there is none of the normal complaining. The pace is quick. What is driving these two?

No obstacle will deter us. We don't go around. We go through!

Almost there.

Wait...

...that's no ice axe...that's a diggin' tool!

The work begins.

Are we climbing, or are we mining?

After some time, a small treasure.

It's shiny and yellow. That's all that matters, right?

We start hiking over the ridge to do some climbing. More treasure along the way.

Let's try out this belaying thing.

Getting the hang of it...

It starts to rain and we pack up and hike out.

This little guy finds his own treasure. Lapping up the water collecting on the rock.
