Good job on summiting Illimani on such a short trip. Last season had a lot more snow than usual.

I liked your comment about the driving. It's a bad combination of recklessness and incompetence in La Paz but, fortunately, outside the city there's very little traffic. The road to Illimani is actually better than average for Bolivian mountain roads. The Death Road is on the other side of the Andes in the Yungas but most of the mountain roads are kind of deathy anyway.

You can get Top Ramen, and other ramen brands, in the bigger grocery stores like Hypermaxi and Ketal. Saya beer, in dorada, amber and negra, is actually really good.
