FPONIAD First Pitch of Nose In A Day. Barely a Trip Report

Here's a couple photos from our day out this weekend. Recognized ST regular Briham89 while racking up in the meadow. He and a buddy sent East Buttress, Vitaliy and friends slayed Lurking Fear in a "push" and Macronut (Adam) and I got some aid practice in while wearing t-shirts in March. Nice job Taco heads.
While we were racking up, just after sunrise, Hudon texts me..."Are there some gys doing a NIAD? I say..."Yeah...looks like they're already up on Sickle."
"That's Chris Mac" he says.
"Well they better get moovin', cause we're about to get on this thing!"
Overall, great day out in the sunshine, but we only got one pitch done...a couple times though....since I was moving slow and we got to the top of pitch one at about noon. Didn't want to risk our two hour a pitch pace putting us on Sickle, above the raps, with no daylight. Anyway. like I said, not really worth a TR but hope these shots fuel a little bit of winter stoke. It'll be Wall time in no time yall!

These guys saved our climb, literally! We had a mess up with the topos and didn't have any. If not for these guys we would have to onsight lurking fear lol. Thanks again! And you know who to contact for beta! I think you two will kill it on LF with the right beta. And your TR will have like 1000x # of views than mine will :(

Good seeing you out there! It was cool having taco heads all over el cap haha. Nice pictures too. A day in the valley is always better then a day not in the valley. Hopefully we'll cross paths again up there soon.
One step closer to climbing el cap. You guys will send LF

As always, your trip reports are superb, regardless of climb or outcome. For what it's worth, my first trip intended to reach Sickle also ended up as laps on the first pitch, too, but our pace was even slower than yours. We figured that, at our pace, it would take about two weeks, so we were moving at little less than 5 f/f (furlongs per fortnight).
