2015-09-25 Finding Adventure After Work in Los Angeles
Saturday September 26, 2015 9:04am
Yesterday tramping around in the bushes and scrambling across crumbly summits in search of a crazy looking overhanging offwidth was the most Yoesmite-ish I've felt around here since moving to LA almost 3 years ago. Not multi-pitch, and we weren't ripping it up on lead, but the overall experience was pretty darn fun and left me with a grin stuck on my face :)

Thanks Batrock!

How else are we gonna get magazine cover shots of the sick overhangs unless we have a party of three?

Guy, we parked at Islip Saddle and hiked the trail to a point about 50 yards from the top of the climb. Next time I'll approach from one of the lower climbs but the trail is a pretty mellow approach.

Wow... so you guys found a new crag......

Jeffery..... you don't own it, you have only made the down payment.

$3,000 down payment in bolts n anchors...... there is still a ton more to pay. LOL.....

Just keep this quiet.... when its discovered that there is multi-pitch sport climbing, just off the road, the place will no longer be the quiet backwater crag that only a few climber use.

Did not find a new crag we all have looked at that crack for a long time. I deemed it to short for my taste. I never said I owned the crag Guy lol really..
