Henley Quits.... yeah....proper climbing...it was reported as a new climb in Mountain Magazine in the 70's, liked the name so seeked it out in 1975 and got an "off the peg" leader to fire it....typical Yosemite..hand/fist/off hand/chimney...brilliant. Think we must have protected it with big-ish Hexis and possibly a tube chock.

I used to climb with Bob Henley back in the early 70s when I lived in Chico. I wonder where he is now.

*What is "Route Beta"?
It's climber slang for information or tips on a route as in, "what's
the beta on that route?" As a service to fellow climbers we ask SuperTopo
guidebook users to post tips and updates to this website if they have relevant
information to share after a climb.
