I would actually say that this route is 90-95 ft tall, since with my 60m rope, both ends just perfectly touch the ground when rapping off the top - best not to use a 50m rope. Bring some long slings to Mt. Diablo in general to prevent rope scars. Some of the bolts on the face are spinners right now, so top roping might be the best bet unless they are fixed, but they are luckily not at any cruxes.

I thought this route was rated 5.9? It's definitely at least 90' I agree. But I don't feel like it's 5.10a.

5.10a seems the consensus for amazing face - 5.9/5.10a = as my old friend jason campbell used to say is splitting butt hairs. but very much thanks for your opinion/feedback. and amazing face being 90-95ft tall (60m rope) = great beta!! much thanks as well, i will add that into the next edition. keep the feedback coming! anyone else think 5.9 or 5.10 for the classic amazing face??
