2 Stars and an R rating? Great climb that protects very well. Really fun chimney moves, and not hard.

I didn't feel the route deserves the R rating. The route ate up pieces in the 3/4" to 2" range. It is a very classic chimney, nice exposure when you look down.

However I was sketched out at the top because of green slime and water. Perhaps it would be better after the seeps stop.

We didnt do the second pitch. Actually from the condition of the route it does not appear that many do the first pitch either.

Very cool route. The runout was tame and the gear recommendation in SuperTopo was good. It was slightly wet in spots today but this did not effect the climbing. The belay station bolts are 1 modern bolt and two button heads (spaced about 5" apart), with chains from each. Sitting on the chockstone in the sun bringing up my partners Gary and John was very nice in the morning sun.
