The Urioste guide calls this climb 5.8, which seemed about right. The arete variation on the second pitch felt very easy. Elegant climb.

If you don't do the chimney you haven't done the route. The bombay chimney is what makes the route exciting.

We did the second pitch arete variation 5.9, Next time I will lead the chimmney. A perfect inside corner layback finishes the 2nd pitch. Once here the business is finished. A sligtly run out but easy 3rd pitch takes you to the solar slab ledge.

The second (chimney) pitch of this climb is perhaps the single most memorable pitch I've done in Red Rocks. Very nice!
