weak little utopian freaks that need the Gov't to take of their asses.

The projection of little Napolean here is a crack up. This is coming from an actual midget who had the govt "take care of his ass" for his entire career, while he continues to suck the govt tit today.

I'm more than happy to discuss the science - my academic background and 20yr career have been in environmental engineering, or we can play trade-the-barbs too. But given the intellectual prowess you show here daily, I don't think you're going to like the results of that approach either.

Norton, the tone of your posts are vastly more civil than some of your compatriots, so i'll answer out of a degree of respect i have for you. Go back to post 8500-9000 and you'll find an almost identical set of questions from you as well as my answer. AS far as SP, I supported her for mayor of our little berg, voted for the other guy as governor but contributed to both, and would have voted for any other Bozo on the planet rather than our current clown.

There is no conspiracy theory im ranting about. This whole thing is a scheme for increased government revenues and they are not even trying to hide this. The only environmental disaster we face is if our governing idiots, through gross mismanagement, actually accomplish destruction of the economy with the resulting societal collapse. There will still be all the people, they will still need sustenance, survival ,if a collapse comes, will result in our lands looking similar to orbital pictures of the island Hispaniola-the functioning economy of the Dominican Republic looking lush and green with the disfunctional economy of Haiti resulting in the land being stripped bare. Clear empirical evidence, take a look.

I may well be ignorant Norton, but i am no glutton for punishment that that idiotic thread continuously dishes out. As far as voting to get rid of rather than install-how are those career politicians working out for you?

How about squaring with observational reality Bruce.

Did you believe and trust in the religious right congress and the Bush administration of a decade ago-i certainly didn't. Are you incapable of separating fact from fiction Bruce? If it looks, smells, and walks like a rat-trust yourself because it is buddy.

Yes, Chief they WILL stand for it. They will stand for it because it will be applied via means most of them are too thick to even realize is occurring and couldn't avoid even if they did realize it.

To make it even worse for your hypothetical silent majority of hillbillies, they will probably pay disproportionately to the rest of the nation, because they consume more energy per capita generally. Various fuel surcharges along with regulatory fee pass-through via utilities billing are among likely paths if funding for amelioration schemes is pursued. So yes, they will stand for it, all the while funding even more than the avg cost due to their obsession with motorsports, penis-compensator trucks, and setting the house-trailer's thermostat to 62 degree in the summer.

Nah Ed. I'm a little partial to you. You can be reeducated at the camps. Keep up your sense of humor boys. After all our ranting and raving will not make a rats ass of difference.

Good one Ed. You are keeping up your sense of humor. Any kids?

I am not a psychologist and am therefore unqualified to answer your questions Bruce. Surely there are some off the shelf left wing studies to pre -answer your questions. Consult them, but as with any doctor/patient relationship keep the answers confidential thus sparing us the agony of this ill conceived tactic.

Bruce, get your head out of the alarmist rags and take a good look around the globe. None of the predictions of doom have materialized. The planet is currently setting more cold records than warm. It has been proven repeatedly that we are not suffering increased frequency of severe weather. Their are an awful lot of scientists calling for a period of cooling, many more contest the so called consensus science. Governments whose economics are threatened are pulling out of the protocols, some even demanding rewrites of AR5. Is this vision of global catastrophe not an intuition of doom, and if the observational reality is going the other way, is it not a refuted science propelled by irrational negativity? I'm tiring of this psycho babble of yours that is tuned in only one direction.

I read Ed's post, and then this silly nonsense from The Chief:

Mainly due to the fact that the science truly is not settled.

How he can say that the science isn't settled is laughable--he has no clue how to determine that, other than to quote others who have been shown to have an agenda.

But, data is data, contrary to what Rick will have you believe.

So how about it The Chief, show us how you came to the conclusion that the science isn't settled, and once again you will be handed you your hat.

Like a child who doesn't want to be told to go to bed when told, he keeps coming back down the stairs.
I expect a temper tantrum any moment now...

show us how you came to the conclusion that the science isn't settled

Modern science only sees and studies the gross physical plane.

It completely is oblivious to the subtle higher planes that control the material world.

This why they are stupid.

Modern science claims their so called great intelligence all while missing the root important truths to how the material world really functions.

Thus they are puffed up with their rubber stamped system of so called experts.

Fools they are ultimately in the final sense ......

They guy who can't calculate 1% of 7 billion correctly and repeatedly confuses Antarctica surface mass balance with total mass balance tells us the science isn't settled. That's so precious.

Their are many commonalities amongst CAGW doomsayers and classification amongst their ranks. Recognition of this is key to curing their destructive malady. Bruce, here is your chance to exhibit some impartiality-do an examination of the CAGW pathology amongst it's true believers. If their disease can be successfully treated 99% of global warming will be mitigated. I'll start.

1. Most all live in rat race population centers.

2. Most are government employees

3. Most have few if any children

4. Most have had major disappointment in their careers

5. Most have no other religious beliefs

6. Most consider their intelligence level to be superior to the common man

7. Most identify their political leanings as either liberal or progressive socialist.

8. Most have no hesitation in hurling insults

9. Most are incapable of processing information counter to their beliefs

!0.Most are afraid for the future

DMT,I will agree on those facts, but anyone who participates in racial/class conjecture, generalization,to the degree that the Chef does is no man.

I ,for one am totally happy with the fact that libertarians as he want to be on their own island.Yes happy that this may be his only public involvement.

Dont chase him away,he makes me feel better!

Cheers to you ,DMT

hey Dick, your list is much longer.
