We did knott poach the Lower Malamute, but the routes we did on the Upper Malamute were killer.

No it just reaffirms the fact that I am knott a hardman.

It also goes to show how stupid some of my detractors have looked when they would
post things like "Hardman NOT" - as if they were too dumb to realize that my name
is clearly a self-deprecating play on words...

We did knott poach the Lower Malamute, but the routes we did on the Upper Malamute were killer.

One of the finest crack pitches I've ever climbed is between the Upper and Lower Malamute. Quagmire Crack. Full rope length of 10c fingers and hands in a stunning setting.

Now that the bottom is, sort of, off limits, you can rap in from above. Or, since the pitch below is in the big rockfall area and well back from the RR tracks it might still be fully legal.

Overly Hanging Out, Crescent Crack, Hand Jive, Clean Crack, Brown Ale, Id Arete...damn, I miss that place. One time I forgot my chalkbag, got to the top of some crack on the upper, and voila! Someone had left a chalkbag!
