Apologies for the crosspost, but I thought this might be entertaining for some of the folks here, even though it's on one of those OTHER chunks of granite way up Washington. We also got some great pics. You can even see my new Russian Aiders (courtesy of Moof) on one of the aid pitches before we cleaned things up for the free attempt.

cleanest whitest most beautiful granite I've ever touched is there and on Temple Ridge, although looks like that route needed a tad bit of cleaning. Good job getting it done guys.

Good stuff.
It looks like the tape DID do some good....It soaked up some of the blood from your gobied hands, right?

The tape more or less kept my hands attached to my arms :) Although I did leave a pretty good blood trail up the crux of the pitch. It's amazing how sharp some of those corn flake pieces of lichen are!

I'm pretty sure he just has tender girly hands. My manly hands stayed intact when I finally followed and cleaned the pitch (we won't talk about what happened when I fell off on my first try). ;-)
