Sorry to hear about this Nature. I know it's to loose a dog.
That said, I'm sure you two had a lot of fun together.

yesterday I sold her dog crate. early this morning she came to me in a dream. it was so real yet only for a split second. I think she came to tell it was ok to let go of the crate.

That was a very cool looking dog, Nature. Seeing her puts a catch in my throat and a tear in my eye, no sh#t.
I loved my collie. He was SUCH a fetchaholic he could teach a two to three year old to throw a ball. Dogs are one of the very best parts of life on Earth.

Yeah, Summit will be missed, but glad to see her approving of moving on.
She was a very cool dog, and and I can totally see why you two were so strongly attached. I was really honored to meet her, and I don't say that lightly. I love dogs and she was really cool. Everybody at Yellow Pines loved her company that year.
Cheers, Summit!

Thanks rox. She's was a very sweet soul.
Though she might look like she was border collie she actually wasn't. black lab, australian shepherd, golden retriever. smart and endlessly loyal.
been a bit of a rough day. I've been sorting through some papers and I came across her health report from when I took her in after her cancer diagnosis. feelin' kinda alone right now...
I spread her ashes in this canyon.

Dogs and people probably have 50,000 years together. We have changed each others evolution. We have helped guarantee each others survival. We are part of the same pack. We are finely attuned to each others language.
How could it be any other way?
OOps, my dogs want to go back yard, excuse me, I got to open the door, wait for them to sh#t and come back inside. I have been very well trained.

Yep Happy Birthday indeed. Always and forever with you.
My girl turned 13 two weeks ago, but alas I lost her at the same age:
11 1/2.

She was a sweetheart and a very good looking dog. I only knew her in the later years, but I bet with the black lab and aussie in the genes, she was a handful between 2 and 3 years old.
