Was climbing Godzilla @ Index when the 2001 Seattle earthquake hit. Wall turned to jello, cracks were opening and constricting, avalanches booming off of all the surrounding mountains. A very surreal 45 seconds.

No one was injured, but somehow the account made it into ANAM.
Not really an experience I am looking to repeat, but I'll still take earthquakes over hurricanes any day.
