Hey guys,
I'm leaving for the coast tomorrow morning and my place to sleep for Wed, and maybe Thur, was yanked out from under me last night. Does anyone have a couch I can crash on and maybe a garage to lock my bikes in for the night?

I'll bring beer, coffee, soda, etc. whatever floats your boat.

I'll be in the area from Wed to Sun on a vacation by myself to do nothing but Ride and Climb. Do some reflecting, etc.

Sorry bra, my space is full.
The "ride up camping" in the Morro Bay State park is cheap and easy. and its nearby the "quarry" as well.

Morro Bay State park is hell on Earth. If you want to be around a bunch of loud families and chaos, stay there. Montana de Oro is small, quiet and right off the beach. If you cant get a ride there, do that! Of course it's a bit more "roughing it," no showers, but the loudest sounds I heard there were the ocean waves. Ahhhh.

While I typically would prefer camping, I'm going to have a few months salary worth of bikes with me, which is why I'm trying to bum a couch.

Yeah, Fresno isn't that great. In fact, it can be a real suck fest. However, I know it's not Hell because angels don't live in hell. ;P

I'm in the area now for the next few days if anyone wants to climb. I checked out the quarry around Montana de Oro today, looked kinda blah, really short and dirty.
Going to climb up at Bishop's in the morning.

For a guide to Bishop:

I'm outta here in the morning for 50 miles of the High Sierra backcountry. Maybe I'll catch you next time you are down here. Email John (eGuide Author) and see if he's got time to climb w/ you. He's my regular partner.

Holy boLts batman! Just got backfrom Bishop and all the coastal guys sure love their drills. ( or maybe they have a bolt gun like in Cliffhanger) I have in my possession a photo of 5 bolts in a cluster all within arms lentgth about 10-15ft off the deck.
I will say though, that it was fun. Sometimes I forget how fun toproping 5.7s and 5.8s can be. I ran unto an old friend from highschool and climbed with he nd his wife (I think it was crack wall or something like that) It really was fun. I did one 10a that was really overrated, and swung in an 11b that looked super fun. I'll have to come back again.
Is it common to here to bolt this heavily? I was at the Quarry yesterday trail running and noticed mucho bolting there too. Maybe I'm just used to Sequoia runouts.
I'll be around until Sun if anyone wants to climb or ride.
