A while back I found this pin. Its pretty interesting and appears to be quite old. Anyone have a clue what the manufacturer and time frame this piece is from? Thanks in advance!
Peace

US Army Ring pin. Made all through the 40's, 50's, and 60's.
Can be bought at almost any Army/navy store.
Soft Iron..can be placed brand new...and will be looking "ancient" in a year or two.

I think some of the Wyott pitons were made in at least the 70's too.

Used to call that a "ring wafer" piton. Still find those on old climbs, they're hard to remove.
Except probably in a fall.

It could also be an old Holubar soft iron pin by the shape.
