The Bachar Yerian is like.......

The 13th hole at Augusta.....Historic, scary, crippling

The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca.....Balls in your throat

The Green Monster at Fenway....Just plain old intimidating

Jaws at Waimeia....All the above

Mach 1 for the first time....Historic, special, yeah you can go faster, but Mach 1 is unique for pilots of old and new.

Many more I'm sure....add on here if you get my drift.

Going into space during the Mercury program in a rocket built by the lowest bidder.

Facing Don Drysdale or Bob Gibson when they're pissed.

One of THE Yosemite test pieces...put up by one of the best for the best..even now at 68, I (in my less rational moments) think of leading it!

an elegant stream running across a vertical field of gold, with nuggets only the luckiest have touched and left behind. (and the even luckier got to follow and hold as a great memory...thanks Coz.)

bachar : " The hardest move is 5.11a at the first bolt, first pitch (bring a small loop of 4mm and 5mm cord to tie off a knob about 15 -20 feet up on the first pitch - as well as some second knuckle size cams to protect the layback flake). Second pitch is 10d continuous. Third is 10c - old school slab cruxes with inbetween 10a runouts. 5.9 crack and easy face to the summit. "
Sounds a likely candidate for one of those modern-day super solos (Honnold etc) .
