I have been looking at that for decades, Blotchie. I don't think left side of the GR is part of any route. You can kind of follow a potential line up nearly all the way to the rim too, extreme aid however. Holes and Holes, also.

Mediteranio goes up that part of the rock. I think it only has two ascents.. the real prize up there is the arete above the king kong chimney... 500ft of the best location on the rock... but it will take the rivet ladder from hell to get it done!
