Don'know her personally, but have always had the impression that in addition to being an awesome climber, she's a fine human being.

I admire her very much. I ate up "Climbing Free" with a spoon. I am sending her good energy and I know all women climbers are behind her. (Not that men aren't, too, but we've definitely got her back.

I met her at one of her many slideshows and a few years later at a trade show in Salt Lake City. She is a super example of an elite climber! To have that much talent and humility is a rare combination!

i've never met her, but i hung out slacklining over the merced with owen when he was two and a half. one of the cooler kids i have hung out with (which is saying a bit.) i've never met a rad kid who didn't have an amazing mom. whatever is going on i am sending thoughts your way, lynn.
how could a short woman,major badass, named lynn not be my superhero.

One of the most important rock climbers ever, in any area or genre.
Never knew her well, but she was always really friendly and enthusiastic--
Few folks achieve at a truly elite level, and even fewer do it without turning into narcissists or walking cliches or even sociopaths. We've all been pretty lucky to be around during her tenure.

Lynn's just blue over the loss of a few friends. I think climbing is hard on it's athletes.
Anyway, why do we need a big excuse to give kudos to a fellow human being? Especially one this good?

She's who got me into rock climbing, and set my sights on El Cap. I realized there was an entire world that I wanted to be a part of that had its own vast hidden internal greatness (relative to the outside world and its values).
I've always been inspired by females that "can and do" in whatever they choose. All my life I've been sick of the snakey types of females that get by on being manipulators, thieves and who thrive on taking a secondary role. Those types reinforce the old paradigms of suppression of the female. I thank Lynn Hill for showing the proper way and for being an example of what to look for in a woman.

Way BITD when Lynn first came on to the climbing scene we used to boulder together. It always ended up that I watched in amazement as she had to do 3-4 moves to my one and held things that I couldn't even dream of hanging on to.
She's an awesome, awe-inspiring woman who has completely burst the bubble of the "Boys Club." I have often used her as an example in motivational talks because she not only had/has the vision...but she also has the perseverance to seal the deal.
