Dr.Sprock... If you come down Nicholson and turn right at the second street... Yabo's old house is on the left side.

Now, let's bring this back to climbing! Who are we going to see at Bachar's show? Speak up... we want to see all of you!

Didn't Kauk and Yerian go to school there?

Cheif Kauk went to Carlmont, which is up the peninsula in Belmont, which is right down from Bing Crosby's place.

JB says he is going to give a free solo FFA redpoint onsight 5.17xxx demo at Lexington Rock at 3 PM for all interested parties.

5.7 onsight flash maybe.

I wouldn't mind doing some bouldering at Castle Rock however. Anybody up for a session?

I'd be stoked if I could get a "modern tour" of the place. I only went there once a long time ago and had a killer time. I was there with Kauk and Werner. We were on a "special mission"... heh heh

John,

I'll see if I can get the "Mantle King" Tony Lynott out of retirement for Castle.

Damn... we used to spend the whole day at the Parking Rock Boulder... But I guess we should do the whole tour. To be honest, I will need a re-introduction to the route names. Back then it was just a mantle, a crack, a face, etc.

hey, due to the current statewide financial disaster, we should have the run of the place.
that means we can roll it up old school with open container, and the whole 9.

plus, charge 5 bucks to climb with JB and he gets free gas for the month.
no more 15 person limit, come one, come all.

the next door neighbor used to get off of cross country practice, (15 miles in the hills), then head up to castle for an little extra workout. he would not have much daylight left, so it would be a full on sprint to the top, which took about ten seconds, then out to the goat rock and back in time to watch Bonanza.

whats so wrong with public urination?
i was told that it was sterile.
you can walk a great rope.
indian rope trick.

I need one of those electronic translation devices to understand half of what's being written here. but if you bad boyz are going to slap sandstone slopers prior to the slide show, that sounds like fun. I assume adult beverages would be welcome.

I'm in! I live in LG again. A native, then I took a 25 year detour to AZ and LA after high school. Back in the hills now.

plastic, what year did you graduate? Me--'79. Our 30 year reunion is this summer. How the heck did that happen?!

JB,

by modern tour, you mean the tough problems? Or just newer problems?

I'm partial to Lost Keys

KC... check your 1977 yearbook. I'm in there as a senior wearing, not a tux or suit... a Hawaii shirt. Page 33, Fifth colum, third row.

The url noted in the original post (http://www.http://shop.vershke.com); gave me an error message when I clicked on it. A little investigation turned up the following -

Hope this helps :)

Ok, plastic; you showed me yours.....

Same book, page 118. First row, 4th column from left. Ugh, sophomore pics. While I'm sure you wouldn't recognize me, you might recognize the last name. My sister was in class of 76, and my brother was 78.

Munge - Like newer 5.7's... or like a killer 5.10 - 5.11 circuit (sorry, don't know V grades yet).

Tony Lynott! That dude was sick on mantles. Him and Shawn Curtis were the best I've ever seen.... wish I could have got them together for a session.

I'm psyched.

As we approach John's shows (June 26, 27 and July 9 are not too far away) I want to make sure everyone knows the value of buying your ticket BEFORE the event. It's simple...

Option #1:
Buy your tickets before the event and get them for $12 each. (Some shows may be higher)

Option #2:
Buy your tickets at the event and get them for $15 each. (Some shows may be higher.)

So why not save enough for a beer? Pre-order tickets and sleep well knowing you won't be faced with a "SOLD OUT!" sign at the door!
