I'm not Russ. . . but I do play him on TV.
?
But. . . you're welcome anyway.
?
Something tells me I'm WAY out of the loop on this one.

GoodLord. . . that wasn't "Thanks, Russ." it was "Thank Russ."
HohMahn. . . I'm WAY out of the loop. . . and I fully don't know what's going on. . . but if you're running an iBookG4 you might want to stay off that thread.
I hate stuff like that.

I noticed it yesterday.
It isn't just macs.
It overflows the buffers in your browser.

Just skip to the second page, He loaded two or three nukes on the first page in a tirade against off topic threads. Anybody with a smaller system or a dialup connection will get a LONG delay at best.
The thread drift has moved to HAM Radio, and there is a really cool collection of OLD QSL cards being displayed.

I don't think the intention was to mess with anybodies computer as much as it was to mess with the thread.

Really BIG pictures of a nuke blast.
He used to use them a lot last year.
Then he grew up.

The second page of that thread does have a fascinating discussion of ham radio, with photos. Though some of the technical details are a bit abstruse.

Kind of ....
But I suspect it's taking a while to load and render the browser and causing a kernel panic from the memory chips.
Just a wild guess ......
It loads fine and fast on my machine, windows xp 3.0 ghz 4gigs ram @ 3.2 actual gigs, firefox 3.08.
Windows Xp 32 bit can only handle 4 gigs of ram max.

No one's machine can be damaged by this. Russ just posted several enormous photos of a nuclear blast to kill the thread.
No need to worry about your hardware. :)

Yeah for sure.
Send it to me and it can't be fixed. I'll dispose of it for you after extracting all your personal information for my stealth hack into North Korean missile defense system.
So I can launch a good counter attack at Russ. He'll think they did it .....

Guy, you guys. . . I didn't even know you could do stuff like that. . . guess I'm outta the loop, eh?
I'm runnin' a pretty nice (not THAT old) LApple iBookG4 and it got fried. . . everything went haywire. . . and I run BIG ASS graphics on this thing - with the newest and best PhotoChop. . . so it's not a space issue.
Mussy, why are you mad at us?
I love you.
You shouldn't be mean.

P.S. I will admit I had ALL kinds of stuff open. . . so maybe there was just some kind of overload? NEVER experienced anything like it.
