Stark Naked 5.8** Queen Mountain. Climbed today by Resa Ashbachar and myself...Climbed the way Woody liked to climb;...ground up, gear put in on the lead; keeping it adventurous..... Woody taught us to grab the tiger by the tail and the bull by the horns;....thanks, friend, for your inspiration, motivation, and example....(Cosmic, Locker, and Blitzo also did a Woody tribute climb a few days ago.....an excellent tribute to a fine gentleman.)

Does anybody besides thankful parents tell you how cool your efforts are, Todd?

I'd hit that.

Thanks, Todd - a nice tribute. Perhaps some of those at the Tarbuster event on the 25th can climb it, and remember Woody.

There are several possible route names playing on Woody/would he.

Nice climb and a great name! Woody must be smiling.

Todd, I'll be coming to JTree 3/26-4/7. If you do one of those outings like last time I was there, I'd love to tag along. I like going back a ways too - have never been "away from the road* with anyone else; always solo(which makes it a little scary). Jtree is a beautiful place, but going a little further out, it is truly majestic in it's austerity.

Thanks Todd.

Woody had been talking for the last couple of weeks about geting up there with you guys and he felt bad about turning you down on the previous invites.

His ankle was just geting strong enough for the walk up there. On the drive out last week he was asking If I was up for a walk up Queen Mountalin this weekend. He was still a little worried if his ankle was ready for it.
